About Us
Amarajyothi Angavikalara Kshemabhiruddhi Sangha
Amarajyothi Angavikalara Kshemabhiruddhi Sangha is a nonprofit organization established in the year 1997 in Ramanagar District, Karnataka. Our NGO works for the welfare of people with disabilities in Karnataka. Providing equal opportunities for their economic and social security. We work at the ground level to provide essential infrastructure to these people. And, our NGO conducts various rehabilitation programs to empower people with disabilities, helping them from income supplementation to financial support. We have a well-planned and comprehensive program which helps physically handicapped people to fulfill their ambitions.

Our vision is to improve the financial status of around 150 disabled people of Kanakapura Taluk by building their livelihood.

Our mission is to provide employment to the people of Kanakapura in local companies and engage in self-employment.

Training and Placement Opportunities for PwDs
We believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to succeed, regardless of their ability or background. Vocational training was provided to the disabled so that they could acquire skills that would help them find jobs. It helps companies to create inclusive workplaces where PWDs can be employed.
Sports Trianing for PwDs
Sports is a medium to improve inclusion and encourage persons with disabilities in various arenas. Sports contribute to the all-round development of a person and re-energise the dormant mind. We have introduced various sports activities to our people with disabilities, who show great enthusiasm to learn and practice.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities
Every year December 3 is observed as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The celebration of the day aims to promote understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights, and well-being of persons with disabilities. We celebrated with all the disabled people in Ramanagara district.15-Aug-2023

Retina Checkup Camp
Regular checkups and screenings become more and more important as people age. Senior citizens are more prone to chronic eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration than younger people. Early detection is critical with all three of these conditions. For senior citizens, we organized a Retina Checkup Camp in Ramanagar District.10-Dec-2021
